This book is designed to raise awareness about one of the positives of the estuary – the diversity and the beauty of the animals living in it. A combination of photography, estuarine science and biology highlight a side of the Tamar that the majority of people never see.
Beneath the Tamar – more than silt is more than an aesthetic work. Sixty-nine images have been chosen to represent the diversity and beauty of all species, as well as provide an introduction into the form and structure of the animals, and the environment in which they live.
